Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about IPL Full Face.

IPL targets pigmentation, sun spots, age spots, broken capillaries, redness and mild vascular lesions across the full face. It evens tone and reduces discoloration, producing brighter, clearer skin; multiple sessions are often required for optimal results.

Most clients require 3-6 sessions spaced four to six weeks apart, depending on severity of pigmentation and skin response. A personalized treatment plan is provided at consultation to achieve lasting, noticeable improvements.

Advanced IPL devices and experienced providers can treat some darker skin tones, but risks of hyper- or hypopigmentation are higher. We assess your skin type during consultation and recommend the safest option or alternative treatments when necessary.

You may experience mild redness, swelling, and temporary darkening of pigmented spots for several days. Most people resume normal activities immediately; use gentle skincare and diligent sunscreen as treated skin heals.

Common side effects include temporary redness, swelling, crusting or slight pigment changes. Serious complications are rare when performed by trained professionals; follow post-care instructions and contact us with any concerns.

Avoid direct sun, tanning beds, and self-tanners for at least two weeks before treatment. Discontinue photosensitizing skincare such as retinoids as advised. Arrive with clean skin; we'll review medical history and customize settings.
