Ideal candidates have active dark or coarse chin hair and realistic expectations. Advanced lasers treat a wide range of skin tones, but recent tanning, pregnancy, or certain medications may disqualify you. A consultation and patch test determine safety and likely results.

Avoid sun exposure and tanning for several weeks before treatment. Do not wax or pluck; shaving is preferred 24–48 hours prior. Discontinue retinoids and certain topical products as advised, and disclose medications and medical history during consultation.

Aftercare includes sunscreen, gentle cleansing, and avoiding hot showers, saunas, or vigorous exercise for 24–48 hours. Expect some redness or follicular swelling; hairs often shed over two weeks. Avoid waxing between sessions and schedule recommended follow-ups for best results.

You may notice initial hair shedding within one to three weeks, but meaningful reduction accumulates after multiple sessions. Most clients see substantial improvement by session four to six, with optimal long-term results after completing the full recommended series.
