Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about Dysport and Xeomin.

Dysport and Xeomin are neuromodulators similar to Botox but have subtle differences in formulation, diffusion, and unit dosing. Your provider will recommend the best option based on target area, desired spread, and individual response for natural results.

These neuromodulators are commonly used for glabellar lines, forehead creases, and crow's feet. They can also address bunny lines, chin dimpling, and select neck bands depending on assessment and precise injection technique.

Onset varies: Dysport often shows improvement within 2–4 days, while Xeomin may take 3–7 days with peak results around two weeks. Individual metabolism and dose influence timing and degree of improvement.

Most clients report minimal discomfort. Treatments use fine needles and brief injections; topical numbing or ice can be applied on request. Anesthesia is rarely required and the procedure is generally well tolerated.

Effects generally last about three to six months depending on dose, treated area, and individual metabolism. Regular maintenance treatments are recommended to preserve results and can be tailored to your goals.

Avoid blood-thinning medications, aspirin, NSAIDs, and alcohol for several days before treatment if possible. After injections avoid rubbing, intense exercise, and saunas for 24 hours, and follow your provider's aftercare for best results.
